REVIEW – Snowpack Park (Wii Ware)

Let’s face it, nothing beats frolicking in the snow with a ton of Penguins. Luckily Skip’s latest Wii Ware title is full of penguins and only costs 800 Nintendo Pts! Our Video Review is just below, but be warned you might need to bundle up and bring some cocoa to stay warm.

GAMEPLAY – Snowpack Park (Wii Ware)

I’ve been spending much of my free time playing Snowpack Park on Wii Ware. I think I’m pretty addicted actually! It’s a very simple game, but there’s still a lot of fun, simple things to do. It’s all about exploring a snowy terrain and interacting with penguins in a variety of ways. The game is developed by Skip, who previously worked on GiFTPiA, Chibi-Robo and of course Captain Rainbow! We’ll have a Video Review on the game shortly, for now please enjoy the Gameplay below.

Once you grant a character’s wish you’ll be able to check out some artwork that Skip’s artists drew for the character & their house on the island. Here’s a quick video showing some of the artwork. It’s pretty interesting to see some of the early character sketches, especially for Ossan the NES Golfer!

I spent about 4 hours today playing Captain Rainbow. The game is really great, I love it! I need sleep now, so tomorrow morning I will get up a post combining all the Gameplay Videos I put up today. For now here are some Screenshots I grabbed while playing for you guys to check out.
