I’m not a huge Pokemon fan, in fact I really haven’t gotten into the series at all. The whole idea of just selecting battle moves from menus and then watching them attack the opponent seems boring to me. Melee! Pokemon Scramble however is a big difference and more of a real time beat em’ up game for up to 4 players. In this episode of The Fold myself and Nick take on a plethora of Pokemon and demo how the multiplayer works in the game.

WiiFolder’s LIVE Wii-Vent for Melee! Pokemon Scramble begins at 4:00pm central time zone. The stream will run for an hour. Please jump into the Chatroom on the site to chat with other viewers and ask questions you may have about the game while the stream is running.

Note: Come back to this post before 4pm and the above video should be the live stream. The stream will be up about 30 minutes early to make sure things are running smoothly.

Pokemon fans in Japan can now get their hands on the new Wii ware title Melee! Pokemon Scramble. The game is 1500 Nintendo Points which would equal $15. The game has players roaming levels and battling many different types of Pokemon with real time combat. Pokemon can be collected after you defeat them, at which point you can select them to play as.
