EA’s Boom Blox Challenge #2

Wow, it’s been awhile but once again EA is challenging Boom Blox Bash Party players to create another theme stage. This time the goal is to submit your best Virus Block related level. Here’s EA’s official announcement via their Facebook…

The second challenge is: Create and upload a level showing your most impressive usage of the Virus Blox and/or Ball. Humor, creativity and style count!

We will be posting video of the best user-created levels for each challenge as features on our YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/BoomBloxGame) and Facebook page. We will determine the top level using a combination of the BBBP design team’s picks and how well the level is rated online in BBBP.

Make sure to tag all entries in the level name or description with “BBBP” when you upload it within BBBP, so that we know it’s for a challenge.

I’m going to be putting out 3 of these Mini Tours to show you guys some of the Stages that I have built in the Create Mode for Boom Blox. I’m also still working on the 17 minute Video Tour for the 1 Player modes in the game. So enjoy the Mini Tour for now and i’ll check in with you guys later today.

Hey gang, just wanted to check in before heading off to sleep. As always I’m hard at work on a new Video Tour, but it’s not finished just yet. A decent amount of people are curious about the Single Player Modes in Boom Blox, so the next Video Tour will be taking an in depth look at the Adventure Mode in the game. It seems like when I started these tours they were about 8 minutes long, and now they’re nearly 20 minutes – Yikes! I guess it all depends on what needs to be covered in the videos?

I’m also arranging all the latest video updates for the Japanese Everybody’s Nintendo Channel. These will be posted on the site tomorrow afternoon.

So to sum up – New Boom Blox Tour coming by the weekend and ENC Video Updates tomorrow afternoon.

Boom Blox is a really great 3rd Party game for the Wii. It’s such a simple concept, yet it manages to go a long way. I’ve grabbed some new Gameplay Videos (as well as the multiplayer ones posted last week) and compiled them here for you. Who knew playing with Blox could be this fun?
