Rhythm Heaven Fever – Language Comparisons

When it comes to Rhythm Heaven fever many people are discussing whether or not the English dubs will be on par with what is heard in the Japanese version of the game. As someone who has played the JP title since Summer, I can honestly say I prefer the English version of the game. The audio is delivered with a good amount of care and passion, it sounds great! Send messages to Friends on your 3DS with Swapnote!

One feature that has been desperately absent from the Nintendo 3DS is an option to send messages to Friends. Thankfully the new application known as Swapnote puts an end to those lonely message free days. Hand draw your letters, add sound bytes and even attach an image. There’s lots of fun to be had with Swapnote! Check out some footage from the JP version of the application below.

Nintendogs + Cats is filled with Mario fan service. We already installed the Super Mario Bros. house, and now I’ve discovered these cool Mario Kart RC Racers in the Barc shop! Still no sign of any Mario accessories for your animals to wear, but these should keep me entertained until we find a Mario or Luigi hat!

Nintendo 3DS StreetPass Demonstration

StreetPass is a cool new social feature built into the Nintendo 3DS. It allows you to exchange data with other players as you walk past them in real life. This means you get to see their Mii arrive on your system, learn what game they last played as well as read through a few questions they answered about themselves. Don’t worry, none of the information is personal, it’s all game related for the most part. Our video demo below features 2 3DS systems to showcase what each player would see when exchanging data.

Nintendo 3DS Friend Roster Demonstration

Nintendo is really starting to work on the issues with their past WiFi service and the 3DS is certainly proof of this. Adding a friend on the system is very easy and while some options such as sending messages to friends seem to be missing, I’m sure Nintendo will release an update in the near future to add more functionality.
