One of the cool new features to Mario Party 9 are the many intense Boss Battle mini games you’ll encounter! Even though you are your pals will be working together to take the beast down, you’ll still be competing to see who can do a better job. With a total of 14 Bosses to take on, there’s plenty of heated action to make you & your friends work up a sweat.

I’ll admit that I was pretty skeptical about this game when I found out that the car concept was employed, but the more I see gameplay videos online, the more I want it. Now I wish it would come out sooner too! I also hope you’re doing a The Fold on this game too. I really enjoyed your Wii Party ones.
I wish they had a scene after you win. I think watching the boss explode and some mini stars coming out is pretty unfulfilling. They don’t seem like much of a challenge, either…
The bosses aren’t a you vs. them challenge like in Mario Party DS. There is no way the boss will win anyway. The challenge of the minigame is to do better than your friends, see who can hit more without being hit themselves. It is more like a competition than a challenge.
Hey josh I was just wondering if Mario party 9 would only feature the mode with all four players traveling in one car or if it will also feature the traditional gameplay thanks.

The controls for mario party 9 kind of look like the controls for wii party when you come to think of it.
