Nintunedo is our weekly Nintendo Musical Podcast. It’s packed with 32 tracks, a new theme every episode and commentary discussing the composers behind each episode’s music. Nintunedo theme composed by Bowie. Special thanks to Gilvasunner.

As a HUGE fan of the Summer time, I decided we have to kick things off in a hot tropical fashion with our Hear the Heat edition of the show. Nothing but Summer related tracks to heat up you ear sockets! Summer 2011 is just beginning so sit back, pretend you’re on a hot breezy beach and enjoy the tunes!

  1. :D Awesomesauce Josh.

In case you didn’t see my FB comment, Tetra’s trackers was not in any other region because characters (namely Tetra) speak in it. :/ Yeah, I don’t get it either.

  2. Nice job on this one. i can not wait to get Super Mario Sunshine

    1. And if anyone wants my friend code on the Nintendo 3DS is 5284-1469-4319

  3. Just saved this and put it in my 3DS so I can listen to it as I go. Loving it so far.

    1. How do you do that exactly? I’ve tried but I’ve been having some trouble.

      1. I don’t have the 3DS, but my guess is that if you want to listen to the show on you 3DS, or even DSi, you have to convert the MP3 file to AAC which the device could actually use.

Josh, perhaps you should post the podcast as unprotected AAC so that more devices [read: Nintendo devices] can play them.

        1. Actually, the 3DS can play mp3s.

      2. First off, you’ll need a new SD card that didn’t come with the 3DS (mostly because the SD card that came with the 3DS is locked from adding files for the most part).
You can transfer the files from the SD card to the new SD card by copying the original files onto your desktop, then copying from the desktop into the new SD card – so don’t worry about losing any files.
Next: with your new 3DS, create a new file within the SD card named “Music”. It has to be its own file, ensure that it’s not in another file.
And there you go. Now you can transfer all your music into this file. Keeping the music in their own files within the Music file will separate them as albums. And there you go~

Just wanna say, you can use the 3DS SD card that came with it, I have downloaded many mp3 files on to it and it works perfectly in sound.

          1. THanks for the tip both of you it took me ages to figure that out

        2. The card with the 3DS isn’t locked in any way; it is the same as every other SD card you can buy.

  4. Please comment about any problems you have listening to the podcast in your browser, using the on-page player.

Never mind about the remixes part, some of them sounded like remixes, but if not, yeah…

      1. SuperDuperMarioRainbowFactory

speaking of remixs, it would be pretty sweet if josh occasionally included ocremixs

  11. Very nice idea and song selection. I love it!

But it’d be time for a new episode of the pipeline. Hope the project didn’t die.

    1. I think pipeline will continue after E3, when there will be plenty of nintendo news.

sounds like the game cube or ds animal crossing… i miss the nostalgic tropical animal crossing it used to be…..

    1. I know! Animal Island was so cool, really hope they bring it back some day.

      1. NintendoLover

Yes, I hope they bring it back for the 3DS one! *huge AC fan here also*

      2. Hey Josh this is kind of a random question but I saw the “Grass Wear petition” for Animal Crossing City Folk you sent to nintendo on an ACCF website and was wondering if it has been considered at all. Anyways hopefully they’ll do something about it!

        1. NintendoLover

Since most people complained about, and Nintendo knows how to make their fans happy (for the most part), I bet they’ll take it out for 3DS.

          1. I bet so too, man I wish they hadn’t added in this feature for ACCF :/

  16. this is awesome! I love music!

  17. Nice idea, I was getting bored of coming to the site just to find the same old news. I’m hoping you’ll keep it up

  22. Finally got around to downloading this. Put it on my 3DS, and it really fits the Radio-effect. :)

  23. I thought a new episode was going to be added this week…?

    1. What can you say? Josh must be a busy man. It shouldn’t be easy to run a website this dedicated to anything.

      1. NintendoLover

        I like this above comment.

  24. I wish you could make a show just about Animal crossing.

  25. Great ideia Josh, i hope this keeps up. I’m loving it!

  26. I was a liittle disapointed in not hearing “Beach Bowl Galaxy”, but Super Sluggers Credits more than made up for it.

  27. You’re right. I can’t get enough of sunshine music. Mario music in general is amazing. Nintendo music in general is amazing.

  28. oh my gawd this is SO cool! u rock josh!!! u should get paid this!!! ur awesome josh!!! i really mean it too!!! oh btw, did you know that they’re having a new game coming out next christmas in 2011? it’s about mario and sonic. the game is called mario and sonic at the london 2012 olympic games. it’s sort of like mario and sonic at the olympic games cuz they have table tennis and stuff like that but they have new sports like um football and soccer. there is 50 new and originalk sports in the game but it’s on then 3DS so they have the new game in the wii and 3DS version. Here are some other sports in the Wii version: Equestrian, Badminton, Dream Long Jump, and Dream Discus. Those are the new ones for the Wii. Please reply back when you get the chance. thx!

    p.s. how’s nick doing?

p.p.s. I got this information from a website called mariowiki.com if you wanna know more about the new game, you can go on that website and look up: Mario and Sonic at the 2012 Olympic games and they’ll show pictures and the new events on the 3DS and stuff like that. Hope this helps! :)

    1. Another Olympics game? When are they going to make a mario and sonic adventure game? (Don’t get me wrong, I like the series and plan to get this one. However, my sis thinks they should stop at 2: 1 winter and 1 summer.)

  29. oh by the way they’ll also show some other websites where you can learn more about too just like mario wiki. they also have a sonic wiki too by the way

  30. hello

    1. hi..how r u?

  31. Awesome new “show”! I’ve been following Wii Folder / the Bit Block for as long as I can remember and you never seem to disappoint. I downloaded both episodes so far, so this gives me yet another thing to look forward to every week.
