Nintendo Announces Wii Play Motion

This morning, out of nowhere Nintendo of America has announced Wii Play Motion, coming to the Wii on June 13th, 2011. This is the sequel to the extremely popular Wii Play game which launched in 2007. Wii Play Motion comes bundled with a Black Wii Remote Plus controller and features 12 games that all require the Wii Motion Plus technology to play. Below is the official press release…
With the June 13 launch of Wii Play: Motion, Wii owners will be twisting, turning and enjoying themselves like never before, whether they’re newcomers to the console or have already discovered the fun of the popular Wii Play game. From catching a gust of wind by tilting an umbrella to fending off garden pests by swinging a mallet, each of the 12 included games will have players smiling wide as they use their Wii Remote Plus controller (or Wii Remote with Wii MotionPlus™ accessory) in a variety of interesting, sometimes unexpected ways. Wii Play: Motion comes packaged with a Wii Remote Plus controller – which combines the original Wii Remote controller with the precision of Wii MotionPlus – to deliver great value, precise motion control and immersive social fun that anyone in the household can pick up and instantly enjoy.
I’m all for Mii related Minis so count me in! Expect Nintendo to briefly discuss this title at their E3 2011 press conference which is just days before the game’s launch. Dates outside of North America have yet to be discussed. Thanks to Nintendaan for the heads-up!

I think 12 is a bad number for Wii Play Motion…
This can be a disappointment. Need to get the game to know though.
it better than nothing
Yea but Dennis Wii Sports Resort had 12 games and it sold a lot of copies
Nintedo’s making ANOTHER bundled pack for the Wii? I thought they were done after Fling Smash.. XD
Can’t wait!!! I needed a reason to buy a new Wiimote Plus!
And I didn’t realize E3 is coming up fast, it seems like it was only a few months ago I was watching E3 2010. :O
Not sure if want.
Wasn’t a fun of Wii Play, huge fan of Wii Sports Resort and Wii Party. It’s hit and miss for me, but I generally prefer a well put together package, if that makes sense to anyone. Splash of mini games? Eh. Splash of minigames all taking place throughout Wuhu Island? Awesome.
I guess I might pick this up sometime… maybe.
Josh I have a Question
I dont live in the US, i live in Colombia
Can i join Club Nintendo?
Coolio i was going to get a wii remote plus but this gives me a better reason to get it cheers
