Video Tour – Jett Rocket (Wii Ware)
Jett Rocket is a great example of what can be achieved in a Wii Ware title. Not only is it tons of fun to play, but the visuals are hands down the best you’ll see in any Wii Ware game! Same here. I wasn’t interested at first but looking at the videos it’s looks like a great game. Like a cheaper vision of Mario Galaxy.

Nice tour, looks like a pretty fun game. Although, I have to say that I preferred the old tour style, where you were on-screen, talking, at all times.
There’s no point in being on screen if there’s no motion controls to demo. The audio quality is also much better this way.
You make a good point, but being able to see your facial expressions was nice.

It makes sense in the way where:
Bit = Bit graphics, reminiscent of old school video games – sticking to the classics. Nintendo is considered the only first party company that sticks to the classics. With this name Josh can review both Wii and upcoming 3DS titles.
Block = portion. Much like a block show, where a portion of a show or a channel is dedicated to some sort of collection or theme.
Bit Block. Makes sense.

Flick of the wrist but don’t swing. Imagine a ball rolling off your finger and being launched in an arch – much like real basketball – do NOT flick hard and always aim carefully before making the shot.
Don’t shoot immediately, wait for the opponent to jump to block and are about to land – they won’t be able to jump again until its too late.
Also dunks are risky if you aren’t used to knowing when the opponent is trying to steal your dribble.
I can’t help but notice how stiff the character is. He literally has no motion when he’s just standing in place. It’s a great looking, don’t get me wrong. The character just has no reactions.

Josh has a knack of looking excited whilst playing this game and the others on the video tours, but this game is awfully boring and simple, don’t bother wasting your money.
