The Fold – Monster Hunter Tri
Grab your sword and shield because it’s monster hunting season on The Fold! This morning we’re gearing up and jumping into Monster Hunter Tri’s 2 player Arena Mode to see if we can settle a score with a giant beastie! There’s no need to be scared, if the monster gets really angry we’ll just toss Nick Martin in front of it and run away.

How’s the Classic Controller Pro? Is it worth paying the extra 10 bucks to get it with the game, or should I skip it?
Save your money all together and spend it on Galaxy 2 or Red Steel 2.
He didn’t even ask about buying Red Steel 2 or SMG2. He was asking about Monster Hunter 3 and whether or not to buy the CCP bundle, or just the game.
Why even cover the game, seriously. We know you don’t like it.
Actually, the bundle is only $55, so it’s only an extra $5. Also, I HIGHLY recommend it as it’s better then the old one in ever way. The ZR and ZL buttons are in back of the R and L buttons thus making them easier to use, and the R and L buttons no longer have that analog click function. This helps tremendously when playing old VC games, since you only have to just press the button, rather then press it ALL THE WAY DOWN TILL IT CLICKS.
Just so you know Minus button is also to kick. IF you have a Bowgun, it only kicks if you sheathed your weapon. Plus, if you see boxes on the field it’s Lifepowder. It’s basically a bit better than a Mega Potion and it heals your whole team.
If your weapon is drawn, then the Minus button uses a unique move based on that weapon. This move, like the round slash for the sword and shield, can be used in conjunction with your other moves in a combo. Also, if you are using a lance, then you will do a dash attack.

yo is this better than red steel 2 worse or about even
I would say it’s much worse than Red Steel 2. Monster Hunter Tri isn’t really much of a Wii game as it doesn’t use any of the controller’s unique abilities. MHTri’s controls are very clunky and sluggish.
stop being a hater monster hunter got rated better than rs2 on most review sites. but i do a agree that galaxy 2 will be much better than mht.
Let people have their own opinions. Oh and review sites mean nothing.

It’s a matter of opinion I guess.
Monster Hunter 3 has online play, uses Wii Speak, and allows users to play the game with either the Wii Remote and Nunchuk(which I do), or the Classic Controller, or CCP.
Perhaps Red Steel 2 would be more of a Wii game is it had online(of any sort) and used Wii Speak.
Saying, “…it doesn’t use any of the controller’s unique abilities” is either sheer ignorance or a blatant lie.
It uses the nunchuk, and the Wii Remote, with motion controls for different actions in the game.

i know im really disappointed about wii folder’s coverage of mht but i guess its not josh’s type of game. Ive been a fan of wii folder since 2007 and i just wish he would focus on quantity rather than making the videos have better quality when they already are amazing.

I know Nick was actually playing the game right in the video. Josh just brushed this game off. rs2 has no multiplayer what so ever so it is only fun for lets say 30 hours. unless ur an addict like josh XD
Multiplayer and 100′s of hours of gameplay don’t always make a game more fun than a single player game that is about 10 hours. MHTri proves this in my opinion.
In other words I would rather eat a medium sized delicious sandwich than eat 5 sandwiches that tasted kinda gross.
point taken but just cause a game doesnt have motion controls on the wii system doesnt mean it isnt a good game… how many motion controls did brawl and super mario galaxy have?
well, technically, Mario Galaxy had motions controls where you had to shake the wii mote to spin, and brawl had optional motion controls where you swing the wii mote to do a smash attack

Sadly they are really some of the worst motion controls I’ve seen in any Wii game though. Very delayed and they don’t even detect the angle you swing.

This game is pure Drugs! really its legal drug and allready gotten over 50h of play time from me….
I did not like the game that much because it is kinda boring to me but I think I have to give it more time or get someone to play with me

you dont really need to worry about alcohol and the blood is kinda bland. just look it up in youtube and youll know
