Video Tour – Red Steel 2 (Overview)
NOTE: I apologize for the tardiness of our Red Steel 2 coverage. It was all recorded in advance, but I decided it needed to be tossed out and re-filmed as it lacked a few details.
It’s finally arrived on Wii and we’ve got one of the most in depth looks at Red Steel 2 just for you! The game gets you super hyped and involved thanks to the accuracy of Wii Motion Plus. It’s up to you to take down seemingly endless amounts of baddies and regain control of the town of Caldera. Sword slashing, Gun shooting and over the top level design combined with an intense soundtrack make for a truly polished experience. Jump in and join me as we take a 15 minute Video Tour of one of the greatest games to grace the Wii!

Wow I had my doubts about this game cause I wasn’t crazy about the first one but looking at this walk through it looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for the nice overview!
Wow, after playing the first one, I expected different from this game. You get to use the sword freely in this game, unlike the first. The only thing that makes me curious is that there is only 4 guns unlike the original which had over 15.
Very nice tour! I bought the game yesterday after looking forward to it since I beat RedSteel 1. But I have to say that I had to get used to the controls first. The camara turned a lot when I performed my first sword attack. And the level structur isn’t that strong. Graphics are very nice though. Looking at your video makes me wanne go back and continiue playing

Aaah… It looks so awesome and fun! I have dreamed about 1:1 motion controls since I was a little kid. Have to buy this! And I’m so happy that Jason did a really good job with this game!

Yup I’ve beaten the game twice. Took me about 15 hours my first time. Playing on Ninja Mode now.
You guys could do the same level and see whose better for the fold on RS2!

Out of curiosity can you do light attacks as well as the heavy attacks?
Yes, just swing the Wii Remote slower. Light attacks show up as a blue slash across the screen. Heavy attacks leave a red slash.

Damn this game is amazing! I watched this before it came in the post, when I got up to the boss in this level I was expecting a big challenge since you died… I took him down really quickly, and I’m 13 by the way! XD

Also does this game absolutely kill your arm? My arm hurts after playing an hour or two of Wii Sports Tennis.
heres a little question for you Josh, what would you want in the next Red Steel game? (I’m guessing you’re gonna say “Its perfect no changes”. I want more melee weapons. i want to see the samurai cowboy use an axe or two-hand broadsword)

i love your videos but i cant enjoy then because my internet connection is terrible and your videos take an hour to load.
I so want this game. It also looks a little like No More Heroes too. It looks way better than the first one. Red Steel 1 sucks!

In case u were wondering, there is exactly 13 moves and combos:8 hidden strikes, 5 Kusagari powers
i went the entire katakara boss without getting hit once
