Reminds me of Luigi’s Mansion only way more horrifying, spooky, and mature.

Would you recommend that this game would be good for a 14 year old? I want to know if it be okay for him.

I’d say its “iffy.” Some of the dialogue is suggestive and can contain many sexual references depending on the person you are since the game revolves around your choices in the game. So, the age recommendation of this game depends on how you actually play where you may end up getting less sexualized characters or less aggressive personalities (with less cuss words). I’m around that age and my parents (and other adults) didn’t feel offended by what I was playing.
I was mostly worried with the horror survival stuff. But that’s interesting. Thanks for the heads-up.
Is there content or just references?
Well, the main character and another character get “very intimate” with each other but it doesn’t get too steamy. Also, there is a part in the game where if you get a good angle, you are able to see another character changing (and she’ll be annoyed by it). As for references, it doesn’t get too inappropriate in dialogue or through visuals.
Well the game is rated M, which I think is 18 or older.

Actually, M is 17 and older, A is the 18+ rating. The differences mostly have to do with sexually explicit content, which legally can’t be viewed by those under 18, so can’t get M.

That’s a very good point, the ratings I was referring to are the ESRB ratings, countries other than the US will likely have different definitions.
