To play online your Nintendo wii has to be connected to the internet. First when u get to the mario kart wii menu click on your profile and the on the bottom left corner you will see wifi conection the u wait for some opponents hope this helped Wii 1 .

i cant quite grasp how people are getting this course beat in 54 freaking seconds!!!. any tips, im kinda new at this?

You should do an episode of the fold of this, well you should do all of the tourneys, but it would be hard and take a long time.
