Video Feature – Brawl Match: Side Sploders
August is usually a very slow month in terms of new video games releasing to stores. So with this drought of games to cover I thought it might be fun to introduce a game mode that we all play in Super Smash Bros. Brawl for fun. In ‘Side Sploders’ each team has to stay on their side of the stage and attempt to destroy the other player(s) by tossing explosive items at them from across the stage. It ends up being a really fun and unique way to play Brawl and is always good for laughs!

Why no sticky bombs? Also, I find that bumpers always make explosive matches more interesting.
We keep it at a max of 3 items because then you have more of a chance of getting them. With too many items you get less bob-ombs and whatnot.
