The Fold – Melee! Pokemon Scramble
I’m not a huge Pokemon fan, in fact I really haven’t gotten into the series at all. The whole idea of just selecting battle moves from menus and then watching them attack the opponent seems boring to me. Melee! Pokemon Scramble however is a big difference and more of a real time beat em’ up game for up to 4 players. In this episode of The Fold myself and Nick take on a plethora of Pokemon and demo how the multiplayer works in the game.

Hey Josh, I’ve seen in all your Multiplayer videos so far it’s only featured co-op gameplay.
Is there any option to play against your friends in a battle brawl – not competing for a better score?
From what I know / have seen so far it is all working on a team. No VS. Mode is anywhere in the game from my experience playing it.

This game looks really cool! Can you link your DS up to it like in other platform Pokemon games? I can’t remember hearing anything of that in the video.

Have you guys run into the issue where you can’t get into any battles? This is in the EX mode (and in Another mode, can’t play there either), obtained some strong pokemon, and since I can’t read Japanese, I dunno what the error is.
It did have the number ’6′ in the error message though.. but it doesn’t help that much..

Hey Josh, do you think this is worth a download? I have 600 points and would have to buy 1000 more. I tried the demo and thought it was kinda fun, and that it seems like it could get repetitive.

I actually Think it is. I bought it and its pretty cool. I like the fact that it limits the pokemon you can get with the codes to the level you are currently at and not its true power lol.. ^.^ Although it would have been Great to have a powerful pokemon lol.
All in all I think it was worth the money on my side. I like the advance mode. Its alot harder then I origionally thought
