  1. Is this game going to be on North American’s Wii Ware?

  2. Huh. My friend has the original, virtual console version that you can download from Wii Shop. This doesn’t look too different.

  3. It’s more like the arcade game than the NES version, which had different fruit rewards and offers and additional 100 new levels in a 1-4 player Arrange mode. In addition you can play original and new levels with harder enemies and you have online leaderboards and cool trophy screens where you can view power-ups and treats you collect in the game.

I think it’s well worth it.

And yes this is getting a worldwide release, apparently much sooner than Space Invaders Get Even.

  4. Oh, and Josh, I’m kicking your bottom in the leaderboards so you better up your game!

  5. The bubbles zooming all the way across the screen doesn’t hold true to the Bubble Bobble tradition.

  6. If you get power-ups they certainly will zoom all the way across the screen, or did you miss that pink sweet he picked up?

  7. i thought bubble bobble was a game where you had to shoot balls to match the colors of the balls at the top screen or somethig?

  8. You’re thinking of Puzzle Bobble (stupidly renamed Bust-A-Move in the West).

Hopefully a good version of that will come to WiiWare as well…

  9. This is very odd game. It confuses me.
