A New WiiFolder Coming!
Hey guys,
I wanted to make a quick post here to inform you all that a brand new WiiFolder website will be launching soon! In case you may not know WiiFolder is partnered / half owned by Mig69.com which was formally Wipido.com and they are working hard on a new site layout.
I know that usually new site designs can be annoying and hard to get used to at times, but honestly I think they’re doing a great job on the new look. It keeps the simplistic WiiFolder look, but adds in what the site desperately needs. You will be able to look through Video Tours, Gameplay Videos and more just as you would on a site like IGN or Gamespot.
Lots of big things will be happening with WiiFolder in the coming weeks. For example the 100th Video Tour is coming up soon! In the meantime please take a look at the screenshot preview of the new site layout and give some feedback!

When exactly will it be updated? And will the update affect the AC journal?
I’ve been waiting for some updates, and some of the videos haven’t been working, so I’m all for this!

When I first saw it, I didn’t like it, seeing as it’s no longer exactly blog form. But then I realized how little I use Wiifolder for anything other than video tours. So now I really like it, especially having all the video tours easily accessed at the top.

I hope the Daily Animal Crossing will stay… also at the new site, cuz im an animal Crossing fan ands like your Video’s! Keep going!

Great! I always thought that IGN and Gamespot had a REALLY organized site, so having tabs for each section of the site will be GREAT.
I can’t wait for it! I also can’t wait for the 100th tour!
This’ll be, what, the third or fourth redesign? :p

If I remember correctly, this will be WiiFolder’s 3rd official redesign.
It could be the 4th if you count WiiFolder Yellow’s short, but second redesign.
This update would be considered WiiFolder Blue’s second redesign.

The new site will be launching somewhat soon. Can’t give you an exact date as of yet.

Will the videos be updated? I mean, will they all be powered by the same source, and not some youtube, some revver, some wipido, etc.?
Also, I don’t mind adds, but there seems to be a lot of it, even when I watch the videos. Could you minimize it a little?

The guys that run Wipido/Mig69…are the same guys that half-own WiiFolder. If anything, it’ll still be Wipido hosting the videos.
New design is online! As the designer of this new wordpress theme I’m really wondering how you think about it.
Josh will update the older video posts as soon as possible so everything looks as nice as I intended
Lovin’ the new design! It’s alot easier to use. I’ve adapted to it quickly.

Way to go, Josh! You finally have a Copyright for the site! So this is an actuall job for you now, huh? Pretty sweet.
The links in the Categories and Archives tabs don’t work, they all bring up a list of every post rather than filtering out the irrelevant ones. Other than that, the new site looks nice!

Wish there were more than 2 posts shown on the front page, but it’s nice.
