Anyway, great tour. I think I’m convinced to pick this one up even though my Gamecube copy works just fine. My love of this game makes it worthwhile though.
The new Wii controls sound great but seeing as though I went through both the GC Pikmin games, i won’t bother buying these games. I’m gonna wait till Pikmin 3.

I loved Pikmin the first time around but I totally slipped my mind how much I love the game. Now you’ve made me itchy to play it again, so it looks like I will end up ‘double-dipping’ for it again..
By the way, first timer over here, but this site is awesome. (apart from costing me money and time that I should be spending on university – haha)
ok matt, you’ve been asking whether or not if the pikmin burried in the ground die:no they do not, actually, if you leave them in the ground, they actually grow in strength, if you saw the tour josh mentioned leaf, bulb, and flower. when they’re in the ground they go through those changes
After seeing this, i’m astonished at the new features. I can’t believe they were actually able to the that day thing! THat was just wonderful. I’m inclined to buy this game even though I bought the GameCube one. I sucked at Pikmin, believe me. I was actually afraid of the Bulborbs, they scared me. But seeing the new controls, it look like it might be an interesting experience. Oh – and i’m SO getting Mario Power Tennis again. That was my favorite tennis game. And now with Wii controls…I can’t wait.
i know this is old, but pikmin in the ground don’t die, they just stay there until you pluck them. stray pikmin will stay stray until you call them back. at the end of the day, the stray pikmin that you did’nt get back will get eaten, squashed, etc.

Nice tour. It’s pretty lengthy, but for Pikmin, it makes sense.
It makes me wish my import copy would get here sooner >_<(I imported because I love Pikmin and I’m impatient)
