Tour – Family Trainer: Athletic World Games Pt. 1
It’s always a fun bonus when I actually need to show you guys how a game is played in a Video Tour. In this brand new Tour for Family Trainer: Athletic World you’ll get to watch me sweat my ass off while playing through 6 of the games.
Another Video Tour for more games will be up very shortly. Just from playing this game about a week I’ve already noticed firmer muscles in my legs. Trust me I check out my legs all the time so I would know.

This game actually looks really fun, and from what I can see, you’ll get a better workout with this than Wii Fit.
wow i think you might have actually sold me on this over wii fit; looks way fun. what’s the pricing like?
This game is $59.99 from what I have seen on Amazon.com. So $30 cheaper than Wii Fit.

hey nice tour! keep them coming..
sweet. i feel like the power pad itself is such a draw for me since i have all these awful memories of track and field hurdles and falling on my ass. and that really weird game where you were a cop.
It looks like fun. The only thing I would worry about is whether the power pad moves get overly complex. It seems to work well enough though.
It seems a bit less intuitive and more generic than Wii Fit to me. There have been loads of games with DDR style mats, but only one Balance Board so far.
Also, in the inner tubing game…
“Its is foolish to oppose me, Star Fox. You will die just like your father”
Seriously, that tunnel really reminded me of Lylat Wars/Starfox 64.
How many blocks is it?
Wow – this game looks fantastic. Way better than WiiFit. It seems to get the idea of a workout game right. I play DDR and it is a great workout, but it is first and foremost a game. A game that happens to give you a good workout. High scores to go for, etc. In WiiFit you can go for a jog, but all you do is watch someone on screen jogging. Here you have to jump, change lanes, etc. Perfect. Sometimes it’s the simplest technology that works the best. This looks like a great complement to DDR.
