Upcoming Coverage – Family Trainer
Now that Wii Folder is a website that updates several times a week, it’s only natural that I’m going to begin covering more games. I’m the kind of person who loves crazy, fast-paced type games where you can really get into what you’re playing. So having said that – Get ready for some Family Trainer coverage next week!
Family Trainer: Athletic World is a game that controls with something called the Power Pad. Old school gamers might remember this mat from waaaay back in the NES days. In fact Family Trainer (Athletic World in NA) was a NES game that is being remade for the Wii.

Not only does the game use the Power Pad, but it also features games that use the Wii Remote as well. You can even play with 2 people at the same time, each player standing on one side of the pad. Some games are co-op where you work as a team, and some are competitive and pit you against the person beside you.
It seems like a nice fun game to wrap up May with right? I’ve added some screen shots of the game below. Obviously the graphics are very simplistic… but who honestly cares?

What the hell? There’s a power pad for the Wii? Why is that even necessary when you can put a Wiimote into your pocket and accomplish the same thing.

Watch videos of the game. It’s obvious why the Pad is needed.

It depends if it interests him. If it doesn’t…he doesn’t tour it.
There have been some instances in which he does not tour games for one reason or another.

Even if it does interest him, if he ends up not liking it (a la FFCC: My Life as a King)…most likely he may not tour it.
Okay? I don’t really care about the behind the scenes on Wii tours, all I was wondering is if he’s gonna tour the game or not, for no particular reason.
Hell, I don’t even care about that awful game, I was just simply wondering so I figured I’d ask.
